Levin is perhaps best known for his lyrics for Badad ((ヘブライ語:בדד); "Alone"), a popular Hebrew song, famous for its performance by Zohar Argov and the subject of many subsequent renditions. A prolific and praised translator of fiction, science, television and film, Levin was responsible for the Hebrew translations of some modern classics, such as * Norman Mailer's The Deer Park ((ヘブライ語:גן הצבאים)) and The Executioner's Song ((ヘブライ語:שירת התליין)); * Herman Wouk's The Caine Mutiny ((ヘブライ語:המרד על הקיין)) and War and Remembrance ((ヘブライ語:מלחמה וזכרון)); *John le Carré's A Small Town in Germany ((ヘブライ語:עיר קטנה בגרמניה)), A Perfect Spy ((ヘブライ語:מרגל מושלם)), and The Russia House ((ヘブライ語:בית רוסיה)). Levine also translated several landmark works in the social sciences, including B. F. Skinner’s About Behaviorism ((ヘブライ語:ביהייביוריזם)) and Beyond Freedom and Dignity ((ヘブライ語:מעבר לחרות ולכבוד)); Leonard Broom and Philip Selznick’s Sociology ((ヘブライ語:סוציולוגיה- יסודות, עקרונות, גישות)) and Richard Lazarus’s Adjustment and Personality ((ヘブライ語:אישיות והסתגלות)). Levin's first name, Amasai, is a rare name of biblical origins. He also published under the pseudonyms Amos Yahav ((ヘブライ語:עמוס יהב)) and Avisar Levin ((ヘブライ語:אבישר לוין )). ==External links== Amasai Levin at Internet Movie Database () 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Amasai Levin」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
